The mother of twins dubbed “the most beautiful in the world” is being criticized online by other parents who accuse her of “exploiting” her daughters’ good looks.
Leah Rose and Ava Marie Clements, who live in Los Angeles and have amassed over a million followers on Instagram in a matter of months, the twins have received lucrative fashion deals.
The girls’ mother, Jaqi, first signed up the twins for modeling at six months old, but it wasn’t until they achieved Instagram fame that they were approached by brands.
Also teaming up with agencies like LA Models, Eris Talent Agency and God & Beauty, the girls, who go by the name @clementtwins on Instagram, posed for various magazines including La Petite Magazine, Petite Adele clothing, VEG-A-PORTER, and Airfish.

One user wrote: “Why do people do this? Are social networks everything? Why take away their childhood?
Others labeled it “occasional child abuse,” while another said, “This is so serious. I have an eight year old boy. I couldn’t imagine exploiting her like this for money or Instagram likes.”

Despite the criticism, Jaqi claims that girls love modeling, but explains that she finds it difficult when people assume she is making a lot of money from it. “I pitched my idea to the girls that if they were up for it, on top of the dance classes and swim team practices they had every week, they could try modeling,” Jaqi wrote in 2017.
