They just wanted their 22-year-old son to be happy on his birthday, but what he did was completely unforgivable. Children always look forward to their birthdays and the amazing gifts they would receive from their parents and relatives. However, when a grown man has unimaginable expectations of his parents, it becomes a matter of shame.
An ungrateful 22-year-old man recently pushed his new BMW into the river after his parents didn’t buy him the car he wanted. His claim was for a Jaguar. He claimed the BMW was too small for him and his friends, according to Fox News.
The man named Akash deliberately pushed the BMW 3 Series car he had received as a birthday present two months ago into the Yamuna West Canal in Haryana, India.

“Akashi was demanding a Jaguar from his father, but when his father couldn’t buy one, he threw away his BMW in a fit of rage,” a local police official said, according to CBS News. “His family had sold the [Toyota] Innova that they had received from his in-laws to buy him [Akash] the BMW,” the news report said. What is most irritating is that no arrests were made and no cases were filed as no one filed a complaint. Police said the parents, including his father, landowner Sanjeev Kumar, said Akash had a mental health problem and did not want to reveal it. Sanjeev defended his son, that he behaved in a brash and impulsive manner, and denied that he ever wanted a Jaguar. He claimed his son was trying to avoid hitting an antelope that was in his way, according to CBS News.

Video from the scene shows the car stuck in a tall pile of grass as divers and locals try to pull the submerged car out of the water. An Indian newspaper, the Times of India, reported that the 22-year-old man made a video of what he had done to the car to send to his parents to show them how angry he was.
Realizing how outrageous his actions were, he later also dove in with those trying to help pull him out of the river.

The car was recovered after several hours of work by divers, locals and earth movers.
It had to be pulled out of the middle of the swollen river, thanks to heavy monsoon rains, by heavy construction machinery towards the end. It is no longer known if it is working correctly.
